Welcome to The X-Files Most Unwanted. This is a fanfic archive featuring characters from "The X-Files" television series that are often times overlooked or under appreciated by the majority of online fans.

This archive began as an archive for John Doggett and later expanded to include all characters from seasons 8 and 9. Now XFMU has expanded yet again to include other characters from "The X-Files" that are the "most unwanted". If the character isn't very popular in the fandom you can find fanfic of that character here.

XFMU is not a Mulder/Scully relationship fanfic archive. Mulder and Scully may be in stories in this archive, but they are not the center piece so to speak. If your fanfic is solely MSR or Mulder/Scully with Baby William, and does not include any other characters who are "most unwanted" then the story will not be added to the archive. There are plenty other archives out there that house MSR fanfic. Thank you for understanding.

JULY 15

MONICA REYES COMES FROM CHILE

This was the confession that Chris Carter, writer and creator of The X Files, made at the EXPO The X-Files while answering to some 500 crazed chilean fans. According to him, he got the inspiration for the character from an art gallery owner in Vancouver. The "Real" Monica Reyes, is a Chilean that has been living in Canada and from whom he has bought various art pieces and paintings by Chilean artists.
He also mentioned that, if a 3rd movie could be made, the characters of Doggett and Reyes could appear, since they were not killed in the last episode of the series.
Let's pray for that 3rd movie to happen then.

FANFIC OF THE MONTH: JULY 2008
This month, the XFMU Archive has picked out as Fanfic of the Month the story "Resurrection of Men", by SusanH. I picked this one to mix it up quite a bit, to give you guys something different, this is totally Doggett, and I like the characterization... Short, yet inviting.
