CHRIS CARTER AND FRANK SPOTNITZ TO GO TO SOUTH AMERICA
The X Files Chilean Fan Club has achieved to get Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz to go to Santiago de Chile on July 11th and 12th!!!! They're organizing the "EXPO The X Files Chile - Vuelve a Creer" (translates into: Believe again) you can learn more if you go to their site. Is in spanish, guys... if you need a translation, I'll be glad to give you more info about it.

X FILES REVELATIONS: THE NEW DVD SET ITS OUT THERE
The website for the new dvd set is out and looks really polished. For those that don't know already, this is a recopilation of 8 episodes from season 1 thru season 6 (Sorry no Doggett or Reyes, but plenty of unwanteds!) hand picked by Chris Carter and supossedly a landing ground for the new movie.
The site contains some trivia questions and wallpapers for download. The set hits the stores on July 8th. For our Aussie readers, this set is called The X Files Essentials and comes out in July 16th.

INTERNATIONAL TRAILER LEAKED!
A russian version of the new theatrical trailer has leaked on the web. It has been taken off You Tube already, but we managed to get a copy from our friends at TheX-Files.RU. Also, XFN has announced that the English Version of this trailer,or maybe a different one, will premiere at Yahoo! on wednesday at 7pm Eastern Time.
For those that can't wait, here's the Russian version for download. Needless to say, this has a STRONG SPOILER ALERT

MARK SNOW COMPOSES THE SOUNDTRACK FOR THE X FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE
As had been announced a while ago, Mark Snow is the composer in charge of the soundtrack for the new movie and here to show some of the insider look, some studio pictures of the recordings with the orchestra. Also appear in the pictures, Pete Anthony, Director of the Hollywood Studio Symphony, Alan Meyerson and the director of the orchestra, Jonathan Sacks.

The official site of the movie has been updated to show the official title of the movie.
Also, there was a picture of Mulder and Scully, some say it has to have a spoiler alert... some say is staged... it is definitelly shipper, so my best guess is that it may not belong in this fanlisting, lol.

THE X FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE
That's the title for the new and exciting movie that we've all been waiting for!
Chris Carter mentioned in an interview with the Associated Press:
"It's a natural title," Carter said in a telephone interview Tuesday during a break from editing the film. "It's a story that involves the difficulties in mediating faith and science. `I Want to Believe.' It really does suggest Mulder's struggle with his faith." Also, there's a new picture to share. Only Mulder and Scully in it folks. Hopefully, we'll have some Skinner in the following pictures to surface!

A new boxset of DVD's have been announced to be released on July 1st, according to TV Shows on DVD. The Name: Revelations. Its supposed to be a compilation of 8 episodes picked by Frank Spotnitz and Chris Carter, along with on camera introductions, the WONDERCON Panel and the preview shown at the Paley Festival. According to XFN, the shooting for the untitled XF sequel has finished in the Vancouver Outdoors. There are only a few scenes left with Gillian, that are being shoot in closed studios. They're still to give the movie a proper name, but the sources of this website say that the movie is gonna be out of this world!!!

According to sources, Mitch Pilleggi has been called to be part of the new movie and is already in Vancouver to start shooting his scenes. His presence had not been confirmed previously, and even though they said the original cast would be a definite part of the movie, we hadn't seen Mitch in any of the pics or calling sheets. So... Yay! another "unwanted" in this new movie.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows by now that Annabeth Gish and Robert Patrick won't be in the new movie, but that doesn't mean that we won't have a long list of "unwanted" to look foward to in this new chapter in X Files history.
